About Us
My name is Mayra Hernandez and I’m the Founder and President of A & D Rescue. My rescue journey started when I was a young child growing up in North Los Angeles where the streets were riddled with abandoned animals.
It’s always been my passion to help animals in need. My sons Andy & Damian have always been part of my rescuing journey. Always involved in all my missions. From saving dogs off freeways to taking in owner surrenders.
Our mission has always been to rescue, rehabilitate & rehome neglected and abused animals. We decided to start our own non profit after years of rescuing. We are an all volunteer & foster based rescue. We rely solely on your donations, our fundraiser and adoptions. Andy & Damian Rescue ... A & D Rescue.
